LONG/SHORT RADIUS ELBOWS – 90° ELBOW, 45° ELBOW, 180° ELBOW, 1D, 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D, 10D, CUSTOM RADIUS ELBOWS
‘Ecostain Rainbow’ is a Top manufacturer and exporter of Long
Radius Elbow Pipe Fitting and Short Radius Elbow Pipe Fittings in India. We are specialised in
manufacturing Carbon Steel Elbow, Stainless Steel Elbow, Duplex Steel Elbow, Alloy Steel Elbow and also in
special alloys such as Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy. We offer Elbow in ½” to 48” sizes and from 5°Elbow to
180°Elbow. We can also manufacture Carbon steel elbows and Stainless steel elbows in non-standard angle
sizes as per customer requirement such as 60°, 100°, 120° or 150°. Our elbow pipe fittings are equipped
with different end connections to facilitate their installation and connection to the piping system,
butt-weld ends, socket-weld ends, and threaded ends, which allow the elbow to be welded, soldered, or
threaded onto the pipes.
Elbow pipe fittings play a crucial role in piping systems by providing
flexibility in routing and directing the flow of fluids or gases to meet the requirements of various
industrial processes and applications. Our elbow pipe fittings are designed and constructed to withstand
the operational conditions and environmental factors encountered in different industries, ensuring
reliable and efficient performance in fluid conveyance systems.
All pipe fittings with standard sizes and materials are readily available in stock for immediate delivery. "Looking for large diameter pipe fittings? Contact us today for Customized Pipe Fittings.
In industries, elbow pipe fittings are classified based on their angles and radii, each type of elbow having a specific design and purpose. The grades of elbows typically refer to their bend angles and the radius of curvature. Here are grades of elbows we produce:
Long radius elbows have a large radius of curvature that is typically 1.5 times the nominal pipe size (1.5D). These long radius elbows are used in applications to provide a smoother flow path and to reduced pressure drop and turbulence.
Short radius elbows have a short radius of curvature that is equal to the nominal pipe size (1.0D). They are used in applications where space is limited and there is a need for a tighter bend radius.
These elbows have a bend angle of 90 degrees, forming a sharp turn. These elbows are used in the applications for changing the direction of flow perpendicular to the original direction.
Elbows with a bend angle of 45 degrees change the direction of flow by 45 degrees, providing a more gradual change in direction compared to a 90-degree elbow.
A 180-degree elbow forms a complete reversal in direction, essentially turning the flow back on itself. They are used in special applications where a complete U-turn is needed.
A reducing elbow is used to connect pipes of different sizes or diameters. It typically has one end larger than the other to accommodate the size difference.
Threaded elbows have threads on both ends, allowing them to be screwed into threaded pipe fittings without the need for welding. They are commonly used in low-pressure piping systems.
Socket weld elbows have sockets on both ends, allowing them to be inserted into socket weld fittings and welded in place. They are used in high-pressure piping systems.
Grooved elbows have grooves on their ends, allowing them to be connected to grooved pipe fittings using couplings. They are commonly used in fire protection systems and other applications where quick installation is required.
In some industries, mitered elbows or custom elbows may be required to meet specific project requirements, including non-standard bend angles or radii. Mitered elbows or custom-made elbows are fabricated by cutting and welding individual segments to achieve the desired angle and configuration.
These grades of elbows are selected based on factors such as the fluid being conveyed, space constraints, pressure drop considerations, and overall system design requirements.
We adhere to stringent quality and manufacturing standards to ensure the reliability and performance of our pipe fittings.
